How Should We Inspect The Quality Of Panel And Socket?

1. Check the appearance of the panel

High quality switch panels are made of good materials, with a smooth surface, beautiful and elegant appearance, and pure colors. The fire resistance, moisture resistance, and impact resistance are all relatively high. When making a purchase, touch it to preliminarily determine the material of the switch based on the tactile sensation, and inquire with the dealer to check the product introduction.

Panel size: 86 series (86 * 86mm) Wire box standard: 86 cassette

Generally speaking, switches with a surface that is not very smooth, impure color, and feels thin and brittle to the touch are unreliable. The panel of a good home decoration switch socket requires no bubbles, scratches, or stains. The touch of the switch is light and not tight, and the socket should be equipped with a protective door. The plug insertion and removal should require a certain amount of force and cannot be inserted with a single foot.

2. Inspect packaging and labeling. The product packaging should be complete, with clear manufacturer address and phone number on top, and instructions for use and certificate of conformity inside. Identification: such as National Compulsory Certification (CCC), rated current and voltage values; Product production model, date, etc.

3. Observe the structure and material of the plug (socket)

1) Protective door: Use a screwdriver or small key to poke one side of the two holes and any hole below the three holes. With some force, if you can poke it in, it will be a one-sided protective door, which is equivalent to having none. This type of socket is clearly not safe enough.

2) Copper material: If the hole quality is bright yellow, then just give up. Brass is prone to rusting and has a soft texture. Over time, its contact and conductivity properties will decrease. If the color of the copper sheet is purple red, it is better. Purple copper is more tough and not easily rusted.

Just looking at it directly is not enough, we need to open it up for inspection. Many sockets have sockets made of copper and brass, but there are also issues; Even if both are made of purple copper, there is still a distinction between superiority and inferiority. Many brands' copper parts are assembled into several pieces and connected with rivets, which can cause heating at the joints and affect conductivity during operation. A good brand will use whole pieces of purple copper to make the copper parts inside, which will have much better conductivity.

4. Pay attention to power parameters: With the increasing power of household appliances, the load requirements for switches are also relatively high, especially at the moment when the appliance is powered on (many inferior switches are burned out by the instantaneous high current when powered on). A good switch should be able to carry a current of 16A or more, while a regular one can only carry a maximum current of 10A.
