The installation location and height of the switch socket

1. The power switch is generally between 1.2m and 1.4m from the ground (the general switch height is as high as the shoulder of an adult), and installed at the same height, the difference is not more than 5mm.

2. Several switches are installed side by side or multi-position switches, and the position of the control electrical appliance should correspond to the position of each switch functional piece, such as the leftmost switch when controlling the leftmost electrical appliance.

3. Ordinary power sockets without special requirements are installed 0.3m from the ground, and installed at the same height, the difference is not more than 5mm.

4. The wall sockets of audio-visual equipment, desk lamps, wiring panels, etc. are generally 0.3m from the ground (the living room sockets are determined according to the TV cabinet and sofa).

5. The socket of the washing machine is 1.2m to 1.5 cm from the ground.

6. The socket of the refrigerator is 0.3m or 1.5m from the ground (according to the position and size of the refrigerator).

7. The socket of the air conditioner, exhaust fan, etc. is 1.9m to 2.0m from the ground, depending on the position of the air conditioner and exhaust fan.

8. The socket of the electric water heater should be installed at 1.4m~1.5m from the ground on the right side of the water heater, and be careful not to set the socket above the electric heater.

9. The socket of the terrace should be more than 1.4m away from the ground, and avoid the range of sunlight and rain as much as possible.

10. If the wall length exceeds 3.6m, the number of sockets should be appropriately increased. The wall length is less than 3.6m, and the socket can be placed in the middle of the wall. The wall of the TV outlet socket (this wall is where electrical appliances are concentrated) should be provided with at least two 5-pin sockets, one of which should be close to the TV outlet socket and keep a distance of more than 0.5m from it.
